青年火箭研发工程师潘高峰出生于1980年代，研究生毕业后进入我国运载火箭的摇篮——航天一院，并有幸成为我国最大推力的运载火箭“胖五”（长征五号，CZ-5）研制团队的一员。他与前辈和同事们一起，克服种种困难，越过艰难险阻，战胜外界的嘲笑与怀疑，从发射失败中涅槃重生，终于让型号获得成功，让我国从航天大国向航天强国迈出了关键的一步。。一位来自太平洋西北部的愤怒而发狂的母亲，在俄勒冈和墨西哥乡村地区（在那儿霍乱正夺去大批无辜儿童的生命）搜寻自己患有严重哮喘病的7岁儿子，她的儿子在一场财产争夺战中被她的前夫诱拐，但时间已经不多了，她却仍与儿子相距遥远。。BotBots are Transformer robots that disguise themselves as everyday mall objects.
