龙雁飞（许冠文 饰）是一个著名的武侠小说家，十年了都没有新的作品面世了，不过以往的畅销作品仍然带给他客观的收入，生活无忧。他的女儿Sophia（杨千嬅 饰）是个早已到了适婚年龄，但她恋爱运甚差，只想找一个真正可以过日子的人结婚，其实她一直暗恋自己的上司——花花公子Frankie（刘青云 饰）。Frankie因为意外要搬到Sophia的家住，龙雁飞看见自己心爱的女儿被Frankie当工人使唤，心里很不是滋味，便对Frankie充满了敌意，但在后来的相处中，两个男人又成了知己……。Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。Two friends, Muggles and Joy, spread faith and hope in a number of isolated encounters which reinforce basic biblical values。
