山口組勢力拡大抗争のヤマ場である“大阪極道戦争”のさなか、26歳のチンピラが山口組三代目組長・田岡一雄を銃撃。この事件の犯人・鳴海清への取材によって書かれた『ドンを撃った男』を「さらば愛しのやくざ」の和泉聖治監督が映画化。無鉄砲なチンピラだった成田テツオは西成義賊団団長の村山に拾われて極道の世界に道を踏み入れる。やがてテツオは時をおかず始まったヤクザ社会の大きな抗争の渦に巻き込まれていく。。Four friends confide in each other over the final weeks of Summer in hopes to fix severed familial ties, strengthening the bonds between them in the process.。« Le Mirage » is the perspective of a man in his thirties asking himself "what am I chasing?"
