本作由《第九区》导演尼尔·布洛姆坎普旗下的Oats Studios制作。3段各约20分钟的短片组成的《第一卷》，打响了Oats计划中实验短片系列第一枪。但导演表示是否会有第二卷、第三卷取决于观众的态度。《第一卷》即将登陆YouTube和Steam平台。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios.
